Bio
BBUD are a young, Sydney-based skate punk band; formed in 2022 as a one-off high school project, they instead began gaining a reputation as a humorous, engaging group and are now supporting all ages shows and venues, even putting on their own festival. Influenced by bands like NOFX, and featuring unique instrumentation (trumpets, kazoo, anything else not nailed down) BBUD are loud, fast and just organised enough to keep showing up!
They have supported groups like Bodyjar (AUS), Guttermouth (USA), Satanic Surfers (SWE) and Painters and Dockers (AUS) as well as performing alongside local bands from the same age bracket as themselves. They have their own music festival(ish) put on by drummer Jason Lee which aims to support the All Ages scene in Sydney and promote local bands called "Demandfest."
They incorporate comedy with genuine issues, like in "I Went To The Shop To Buy Myself Some Milk." It incorporates literally just buying milk with the cost of living crisis. In their time as a group they have performed to at least 4 people and are on the up and up to make it 5!
